The property was in a great location, convenient to town and just a few blocks from an Albertson’s grocery store. The place was clean, and the hosts were responsive. Unfortunately, we experienced several maintenance issues during our stay, including a dishwasher that never worked and multiple service visits that disrupted our time there. The hosts did fix most of the issues during our stay and offered compensation, which we appreciated. The area is very safe, parking was convenient (right outside the front door), and the fenced yard would be really nice for people with pets.
WOW! If you are headed to Taos and want a true Taoseno experience, this is the vacation rental for you! Spacious, southwestern and comfortable. And the hosts are incredibly responsive and communicative! A five star experience all around!
The space was well-stocked, clean, quiet, and super cute. The king bed was the most comfortable Airbnb bed I’ve ever slept on. Also, the main bathroom shower was wonderful. I enjoyed sitting on the patio with my morning coffee and listening to the wide-variety of birds in the serene mountain setting. The only reason I’m not giving the space 5 stars is because the jacuzzi was not working, and the hosts failed to offer a discount for this missing amenity. We came to NM specifically to hike and searched for lodging with one, main objective - to have a hot tub for soaking after. The price of this spot clearly included the upgraded amenity because all similar properties with no hot tub were quite a bit cheaper. I understand things go out, but if you are going to charge for amenities, you should offer a partial refund when those amenities are not available. That didn’t happen in this case, which was disappointing. Other than no offer of price reduction, this rental was very nice.
