The location is perfect for climbing Wheeler Peak - a few hundred yards from the trailhead. The unit is a studio apartment as described and comfortable for two adults. There are extra linens and towels. The kitchen has most basics and a great stove. There is a large closet with many hangers. On our arrival there were glitches with the door lock and lock boxes to which the team responded. James came from 45 minutes away to change the lock battery. There are no laundry facilities on site or drying rack in the unit. The central heating does not work well but there are two portable heaters that work very well. The Internet works well. The on site manager for all the units, John, was also very helpful as there was construction to improve utilities in progress. The location is beautiful and safe with great hiking.
I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in the Taos Ski Area! Host was very friendly and responsive.
